Death Aboard2 [Part 1]
Death Aboard - Review by Endless
★★★★ 4/5: Creative and very enjoyable

It's not often that we come across campaigns that decide to take a different approach to their visual theming. Death Aboard is one of those campaigns that changes the usual design for something more creative, without having to become extroverted. The theme is simple: a ruined prison and a damaged ship. With the good handling of design and use of muted colors, the result is a great campaign that has a depressive vibe with a good and intense progress through different areas. From industrial cells to the bowels of a cargo ship, there is plenty to see. It's honestly great.

The gameplay keeps good company with the visuals, and stays in a traditional style. Simple but entertaining. Unfortunately, some events are a bit laggy and simplified due to the elongated map design. The finale suffers quite a bit from this. It's a cool map set in a lighthouse on the coast. Quite tall and multi-leveled, but because the infected spawn right on the coast, they have to run up to the lighthouse, and this takes a considerable amount of time, which makes it easy for players to kill them without difficulty. Too easy, somewhat anticlimactic. Too bad because the map itself looks fantastic.

Death Aboard is a great experience, which, despite having a few confusing and overly simple scenes, still manages to deliver a pretty memorable and fun campaign.
