Noob question

Trying to follow the story line and at finding dead planets. Can't for the life of me find them!!!
There are also icons in the solar system over some of the warp areas. i.e. triangles. Different colors. What do these mean? thx

Dead planets are more common around red giant (K) and white dwarf (D) class stars. They have a purple icon on the solar system map.

If you click on the icons on the map and then click on the "sector info" tab along the top right, you can see info on what the triangles mean.
