Sniper Turrets
Where is the balanced version? ;)
Good basic idea but w/ the current numbers it's more like a cheat. I mean ... 4x dmg + 3x range for only 3x more power? Nah it should use much more power. Like somewhere between 10-20x, honestly. But I guess the rest of your infra could not keep up with it, then. Oh well, slow down the ROF some more. ;)

Would also be cool if it had some little icon etc. to identify it, like the slime turrent and camo turret do. For that matter, the text description just says "turret", not sniper turret. (the hover-over text, that is. the mfg. plant text correctly says "sniper turret...")

So, on one hand I was pleased to have a powerful weapon early in a game w/ pretty hard settings, but now that I have built up to the point where I can afford better weps, the snipers are still dominating all the normal turrets, and that doesn't seem right.

To be more balanced overall, they should probably use more/better ingredients also.

For that matter, the tier 3 unlocked before I had t3 normal turrets unlocked. :E So, I could basically build one turret and cover my entire t2 ore setup.

Just my $.02. I realize someone else requested the mod and I'm not trying to undo that person's ideas or fun. But I prefer more balance. TY for all your cool mods esp. Continuous Destroy of course. ;)
