[Suggestion] Battle Morale
Great progress on this great mod. I'm loving the unit size differences between unit types especially. It feels immersive!

The following is just an opinion that this mod could benefit by moving away from the more typical total war battle-style. I do this edit to all my total war games and feel it is worth attention if the goal is a more realistic game.

My Issue with battles:
Cheap units run away intermittently and return. Stronger units individually fight down to impossible odds. End result is usually that any two armies corrode each other down to last couple units. Most battles are close, high casualties either side. This might be the target gameplay(?) but it is not realistic.

Background:
It is well documented that battle casualties primarily occur after the battle is over, during the route. Just watch any historical recount of battles. "These guys start running for their lives, and all these guys follow suit and so on..."

Solution:
Tweak morale tables for more chain routing.
routing_friends_effect_weighting and the similar variables achieve this well.

Advantages:
More chain routing means battles are faster. Good for people with little time. The kill rate can also be tuned lower to counter if it is problematic for those who like longer battles.

More realistic casualties taken by winner and loser.

Battles will more often turn for or against due to morale swings. More exciting imo.
