The Third Great War, a mere continuation of the Second, brought with it the cataclysmic end of the world. The flames of war razed every field, and scorched every home. Ideologies, both old and new, clashed upon battlefields both historical and political. No one and no-where were spared.
Twenty years ago, Europe perished in nuclear fire.
The world has been irreparably changed. New nations claw their way through the ruble. The societies they rebuild may imitate the old world, but civilization has been warped by decades of war and plague.
Will you help to drag the world out of the ashes - or bury it deeper?

Providence 2001 is a heavily modded hardcore survival and RP server with a community focused entirely upon creating a unique, story-based experience.
We will be hosting regular story events as well as minor, just-for-fun community events.

- DZR Identity Z, making it possible to ID other players - if they aren't hiding their face.

Players who survive long enough to thrive are able to create three different types of faction. Polities seek to create new micro-nations, governed by law and order; Bandits steal for their living; and Merchants seek profit.
We employ a unique war system that ensures faction-on-faction conflicts are roleplaying affairs. Tactical operations turn every step of the war into a story event.
