I had this same issue. The fix for me was to make sure the folder that the mod is located in is named "1749971558"

If you are playing online, then there's indeed a bug that's causing it.
dymanoid's recent changes made this mod conflict with itself, being a modification of the former.
Slipped under my radar since that change was made the very same day I made this version.

Working on it right this moment.

Temporary workaround is to copy the localization files into the corresponding localappdata folder as if you are playing offline.

Pushed a hotfix. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It doesn't work on linux version. I did recent change folder name to "1749971558"
The 'Real Time Offline' mod cannot find a required localization file '%LOCALAPPDATA%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods\1749971558\/Localization/en.xml'

I never tested it on Linux, sorry. I'll need someone to test it on Linux when I get back to maintaining it. If you are willing to help figure out how it should work on Linux and/or testing development builds — maybe add me on Discord. Erquint#3476

That doesn't sound like a known issue.
Check permissions and such. Sounds like a weird issue on your part. Dunno yet.
Also, PLEASE, don't post irrelevant issues in off-topic threads.
Your issue obviously doesn't have anything to do with "invisible text" or even Linux.
It's better if you create new topics for new issues.

Mod updates are on a hiatus currently anyway.
The amount of busywork needed to hack it together from the original is a big hump.
Otherwise, I have a Linux fix in mind.
Just need to either get back to it or find someone willing to maintain this project in my stead.

It's woefully outdated since I last touched the project.
I'm going to publish an update in about the course of the week.
Waiting on some tests I delegated to be finished.
After that I'll probably stop updating the fork myself, it's a torture to deal with.
I will, however, include a git.diff file that should help able coder-gamers to continue my work.

I'm going to publish an update in about the course of the week.

It's about time for the announcement of a new DLC. If you're not in too deep already or stop updating the mod from a set date on, I'd wait :D

Update is released. Check release notes.
If further updates are needed, find somebody to pick up where I left off. That git.diff should help.
I don't wanna deal with MVS and .NET anymore.
It's not even a lot of code, it's just a lot of soul-crushing pain in the ass.

As for troubleshooting, I can technically still try and support people but it's user error most of the time and it's not like I can do very much about it other than reading the instructions from the front page for them until they realize they missed or skipped something.
