Upcoming Patch Notes
Wanted to try something different and have a place to put the notes I'm HOPING to put in the next patch, before the patch goes out.

No promises that these will 100% happen, but they are what I'm trying to do.

- New Event: Exploring the Stag Ways, The Last Stag is a noticable missing char from Bug Knight, and I've had a plan for him as an event for a while. Been running into some issues with multi stages image events where you get multiple sets of options. But hopefully he along with a unique card will be out in 1.2.2

New cards: Void, Soul and Ally builds/cards are in a place i kinda like right now, but infection is kinda lagging behind. The Infection/Soul hybrid is a neat combo but it's reliant on getting a specific relic and that means very unreliable.


-New Special Card: The Last Stag.

This is a special card like the Myla one, since you can only get it from a Event, I don't need to remove any cards to add it, I also don't plan on mentioning what it does. But I will say it should be useful regardless of your build.

Card Changes: These mostly fall in line with the Infection Changes.


New Tooltips:

- Ally, Spell, Soul, Dash are getting tooltips that should show up on relics. this should make understanding the mechanics on your first play much easier.

String Changes:

Kio and Jedi have helped me cross reference the terminology of the base game with how some of the cards are written, I'm updating them to be more in line.

- Chinese and Korean Translations currently underway. 油鱼 and GNowH are amazing people.

Still working on the Chinese and Korean Translation

Big Changes:

- Dash, Ally and Spell are moving to the place above the Name of the card, It's a pretty simple change but hopefully will make the cards feel cleaner and less cluttered.

Rarity Changes:


Card Changes:



- Baldurs Shell+ No longer has innate, Stacking multiple was feeling punishing since it hurt your first hand,
- Possible change: baldurs shell is 4 def at all ranks instead of 3(5) but costs 0 on upgrade

- Fury of the Fallen is 3(4) times when below 25% (currently 3(5) by mistake.


Infected Cysts - 3(6) poison to (4(6) poison
Infected Cysts is now common

- Multiple Shape of Unn's Pulling multipl Dash cards from discard have a funky looking Card Select Screen.

- Glowing Womb Change: At the beginning of your turn, if you have infection, Gain 3 Block and lose 1 infection. Infection 4.
This should provide a much more interesting balance but also is a bit of a buff, since you can't just use it alone now and tank the 1 infection. you need to have infection each beginning of turn to gain the free block

- Herrah's Anger.... Holy crap. 7 times? that's a bug. should be 5.

With 82 cards (not including event or Starting) It's getting a little harder to reliably get some of the cards you want in a run, even harder than it's intended to be. So I'm going to be looking to remove 2-3 I'd like to get the number under 80.

- Removed Fluke Nest: It's just a worse version of Weaversong

- Removed Confessors Advice (decent but was causing big issues with Automatically Focusing cards and flooding decks, and then Did nothing for focus cards if void was up)

Possible Future changes:

- Void Dash: no longer returns damage, but weakens the enemy when you block damage. Increasing block to 16(22)

- Lord of Shades, Cool idea, but needs some OOMPH of some kind

Chinese and Korean Translations.

Ascension Art:

At each level of ascension above 1, one of the cards in the Bug Knight's pool has a new Art, this should provide some non balance altering motivation for trying to beat the ascension levels.

Problems:
there's a possibility of new art confusing a player who is looking for a specific card.
I want to find a way to show in the compendium the art you have. because while i got ascension art working, the compendium loads the last attempt by default. so if you die as ironclad on ascension 20. then you will see the portraits of all the bug knights a20 ascension art.

Possible alternatives:
I might try and do a "unlock" system, where each level of ascension you beat unlocks an alternate art card and then in the compendium you can choose between the standard or alt art card. but that's going to require a bunch of work to get right. Probably a 1.6 or later change.

Luriens Spire - This card is too unreliable to work the way I want it to. And the upgrade is useless if you took it without the upgrade.
New Luriens Spire: Base card gets the Void/Soul detection mechanic. Upgrade (Either drops 1 cost or loses Exhaust, might try Exhaustive 2)

Bug Fix: Lurien Spire is missed by Radiance's Lament.

Husk Sentries - Reducing their maximum HP and increasing their likelihood of using Respect after one dies. Also lowering damage base. They Should die about 1 Turn sooner.

Vengeful Spirit - Vengeful Spirit Didn't really have anything unique about it, Now it deals it's damage a second time at 50%, so in essence it scales 150% with Strength, but also any Scaling with damage should get 150% as much use from it. Careful of thorns.

Midwife's Anger - Upgrade goes to 3 damage per ally base. from 2. Still a hard ramp, but takes 1 less strength to be relevant.
