wtf was that?
There was an event called "climate chaos" because I didn't do a far away quest that told me to disable a climate bomb or w/e. I got heatwaves, sandstorms, stuff like that. Then all of a sudden I got "Outer space". All of my pawns, indoors and outdoors, collapsed and died, wiping out my permadeath settlement. That was not cool at all. Your events are way too extreme.

Well, you had ample warning. You should have gone and dealt with the bomb. That's on you.

Why not just kill me right away then? Why wait like 2 weeks after the bomb explodes to kill me if i'm doomed anyway at that point? All the other climates didn't matter lol

In part because "Outer Space" sounds like a mod interaction. If you're using Save Our Ship 2, that's probably where it comes from, as it is technically an environmental effect.

Hello! The first thing worth noting is that the "Outer space" event is not from this mod.
"Outer space" is implemented in the form of weather (which is very strange) and the event of climatic chaos chooses random weather.
This is a conflict (if you can call it that) mods.

Climate chaos event is not fatal in itself, you only get heat / cold and random weather for 15-25 days.

Events that you do not like, you can disable in the mod settings
