Ayalin serie mod compatibility and setup
Hello, I wanted to do this for a while and better late than never; I am happy to share the different mods I personally use along with my own ones, and I would be also happy if some of you guys could share maybe your own setup as well? Or simply give some feedback about how my mod collection is playable with other big mods out there, I might want to try to improve compatibility on my side or just simply improve my own setup haha. I will update the original post as feedback comes through.

Note: I am not too sure about exactly what the Shadow realm expansion is about exactly and how it changes the game content (the scope of what is affected, what is not). If anyone has tried SR with my mods I am curious to have feedback

Again I am not sure about the scope of what it does exactly, but it looks interesting. It seems to be done for map editing, but it seems that the new themes do not affect morale properly do they? Any feedback welcome on these (it seems to be working in pair with shadow realm?)

Chivalrous Intentions is an incredible mod, very balanced in my opinion and adds a whole layer to every race and class (overwhelming at first but you can REALLY change the focus of your playstyle, I can focus on actual necro skeleton armies (not JUST summons, reanimators and ghouling) or combine it with humans for vampires, or maybe try goblins to spam all kinds of lower tier units all over) I personally love combining it with your mods (yours are my main mods alongside CI for the major content) it’s actively updated and balanced as far as I’m aware. Definitely recommend that one!

Been looking into shadow Realm, not sure if I’m ready for it haha

My current mod list is extensive, so it will be tricky figuring out which ones can remain and which ones have to go

The Shadow Realm expansion mods is like a mod that adds stuff and variety. Most of all, a new playable layer. It can be classified as an "unofficial expansion" or some big "Vanilla+ experience".

The primary goal has been to avoid touching the base content as much as possible to avoid conflicts. But something like that is very hard to achieve.

So in general a list was included in the "Base Content" identifying conflicts. So in general a comp patch could be needed but not neccesarly.

--Avatar definition to add skills: Implementation of Shadow Sickness
--Class Buildings (all) definition: Added upgrades for Shadow Elf RG 3
--Dark Pact definition: Implementation of Shadow Fire for Shadow Elf Succubus
--Grand Palace definition: Added upgrades for Shadow Elf RG 5
--Laboratory definition: Added upgrades for Shadow Elf RG 4
--Palace of the Perished definition: Added upgrade for Shadow Elf Necro RG 5
--(All) Angel unit definitions: Shadow Walker Requisite addition.
--AoW Global Settings: Starting skill for independents to give Independent Dragons, Draconians, Undead, Machines, Elementals etc. Shadow Walker.
--All races, adds morale bonus for Shadow Lands, Autumm and Tundra.

Expander Steampowered include Spirit Fountain in Shadow Realm
Dwarf Racial Goverance 2 include Gemstone mines and Mithril mines.
Draconian Racial goverance 2 include Forge of Dreams.

In general I believe you would like Shadow Realm Expansion content. Since content can actually be turned off like not adding the extra RMG of including the Shadow Realm layer content, but still enjoy the Shadow Elves.

Oh and its fully translated into French in case you must play this in specific language :)
