For a deathwish? Wouldn't work very well considering the majority of the gameplay is an auto scroller. Besides, I'm not a fan of timed death wishes. I think I could do some way more fun challenges for the deathwish like for example:

Anti Kiddo Squad
Special cat agents appear from the very beginning, shooting missiles or grenades at you the whole time.

Detour
The cats took a different route this time, can you survive it?
changes the level to be more challenging with new content

Things like that, cause I did enjoy death wish a bit, but only the missions that brought a twist to an existing level or added more.

What about a death wish train moved twice as fast? Maybe that could be like an extra bonus/candle you could activate, and if you did, you'd get an extra reward?

train moving speed is very finicky, and double speed miggght mess up certain things up in the level, like segments where you get off to run on rocks or scaffolding. Luckily that's pretty easy to try in editor.
