NPCs not showing up on cameras

When my friend uses the camera he can see npcs but they do not show up on monitors (rt_screen) but when they get close enough they show up. Is this something to do with my settings in gmod, if so what setting would it be or is it something else? Thanks in advance.

yeah the older the mod the more broken it be (sometimes it doesnt work like that but i might be wrong)
