I used to be able to recruit troops when I held a village as a fief. I now got a city and can't raise troops anywhere. I can order my general to raise feudal lances, but it takes forever and he never recruits knights.
At the same time, enemies keep invading with huge numbers...I can't even keep up.
How do I get troops and Knights now?
