How big exactly is the map?

Westfield World Trade Center mall.

Adding a mall under the WTC could be a good idea for this map, mall could be made just from corridors or empty shops.

We had thoughts about that. I don't remember what went with that, I think it was just running into limits. But I'd like to tell you as of now I'm trying to get models for Hodges, sphere, signs, and looking for a silloute of midtown skyline for the skybox.
