Hello, I hope it's ok to post this here, I didn't want to clutter up your front page.

When I launch my server I get this message....

Can't compile "World" script module!

scripts/4_World/classes\lifespanlevel.c(36): Can't find file '$profile://PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile//loot//Zombieloot.c'

I have followed your install instructions line by line and re-subscribed a number of times but each time the same error.

I'm pretty sure I'm messing something up, but I can't figure out what.

I have edited the globals.xml and types.xml as you have outlined, and copied the profile folder to server profile as directed.
I have not made any changes to the json file.

I'm sure I'm a victim of my own ineptitude here, but I'd appreciate any advice you could offer.

Thanks.

P.S. I do run other mods, so I'm not a total novice.

surprising : classes\lifespanlevel.c is not one of my files and (36) correspond to the end of the vanilla file... Very curious I don't know why it try to reach my file.

Anyway it should find the file. Can you verify your profile folder structure :
/YourServerProfileFolder/ => where server logs are written
/YourServerProfileFolder/PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile/ => root of Spawn system profile

/YourServerProfileFolder/PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile/Admins.txt
/YourServerProfileFolder/PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile/RealTimeTweaks.json
/YourServerProfileFolder/PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile/RealTimeTweaks -Help.txt

/YourServerProfileFolder/PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile/Loot/ => with 2 .c files in it
/YourServerProfileFolder/PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile/SpawnDatas/ => with 3 .c files in it
/YourServerProfileFolder/PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile/ZombiesCategories/ => with 2 .c files in it

The default path of YourServerProfileFolder is \Documents\DayZ Other Profiles\server\
(verify in your .bat)

Edit : add "Server" to "YourServerProfileFolder" and word on default path.

If the error persiste, you can try to deactivate the other mods to see if there is a conflict with one of them

Hello, thanks for the quick response.

My directory structure was all wrong. I put the profile folder in the wrong place, doh!

("Documents\DayZ Other Profiles\server", I didn't realise it was meant to go into "AppData\Local\DayZ)

So sorry to have taken up your time with this, please rest assured the error was completely mine the mod now boots on my server, no errors show.

Can't wait to get some spare time to try it out. Later today hopefully.

Thanks for sharing your work, much appreciated.

You can delete this thread now if you like.

Thanks again.

heeeu, It's the contrary, the mod profile folder have to be in Documents\DayZ Other Profiles\server
Hopping you just were wrong in writing your message
Zed 18 Jun, 2019 @ 8:18am
My profile folder is C:\OmegaManager\servers\0\profiles. :)

This has been a terrible waste of your time, I'm so sorry.

The issue is my windows is utterly fubar.

Windows explorer crashed repeatedly about 2 hours ago and then I got a BSOD.

I'm about to format my drive and reinstall windows (ugh!) but I wanted to clear this up first.

I suggest you just delete this whole thread as it seems very likely that the error I'm getting is not the fault of your mod, but rather my wonky windows.

It may explain the weird references within the error message that you noted earlier.

Sorry for the bother, and thank you for trying to help.

Good luck for the windows reinstall. These things ♥♥♥♥.
I let the thread to those facing same problem.
Let me know if you finally solve your problems.

Sorry, i can't speak english. :/ but i love this mod and not working for me..

Me too this the problem:
scripts/4_World/classes\lifespanlevel.c(36): Can't find file '$profile://PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile//loot//Zombieloot.c'

but i don't understand why..

I drop the mod folder to server root folder next to DayZServer_x64.exe
I used the -mod=@CF;@PvZ_moD_Spawn_System line.
After i drop the PvZmoD_Spawn_System.bikey file to the Common/DayZServer/Keys forder. ok.
I set the Type.xml and the global.xml..
After i drop the PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile folder to Documents\DayZ Other Profiles\Server folder or the problem is live. why? What was wrong? I have community framework and nothing else..

Please, help me, Liven. :)

Two bugs I found:

1. The zombie spawning in this part of the clinic spawns partially into the ground:

https://ibb.co/h707HJH

2. Loot seems to be spawning in roads. I've never had this before and assume it's from the mod?

@Basi You have to copy the "PvZmoD_Spawn_System_Profile" folder in the profile folder of your server

@BetterDeadThanZed
1 : yes sometime, Z spawns into the ground in buildings, actually there is nothing I can do (with my knowledge) about that unless not spawning z in buildings. It doesn't happen often, tell me if it is too annoying.

2 : I think somebody put the compas on the ground, thier is no way in my mod to spawn items on the ground (except loot-chests). Maybe he found a better compass on a zombie and the dead body disappeared but not the old compass.

This is my test server. I'm the only one playing. I also saw a bag of rice floating near a railroad crossing.
