I leave AI seduction on because I just feel like I'm cheating to leave it off, plus it allows different personalities and intrigue to come up. But man, I am paranoid about sons being mine. I can usually use portrait comparison and whatnot to tell, but still I can't help but fear that my line died out and I've been playing a lie, but at the same time, to just be able to magically tell who my dad was, how healthy I am, and what my fertility is, AND be able to do Ironman? Nah, I can't get behind that. It's definitely gimmicky and Paradox *will* inevitably patch it.
In a way the paranoia and various small ways to try ensuring I have a lineage that is truly mine is part of what keeps the game fun, given that (this isn't bragging pls don't think it is ppl) I've sunk like several months of my life into CK2, it's not really hard to blob anymore, empire building isn't what it used to be for me, so trying to buff my hidden health and push my life's limits, and having to take educated guesses at my baby making ability, and the intrigue of lineage are all things I need to keep the game fun.
On an unrelated tangent, I recently discovered that being tiny and Great Heathen Army-ing somewhere to forge a realm is extremely fun and is probably my new favourite thing to do if I'm not having any luck as a minor chieftain in Scandinavia.
