So you want to have a "drop all" function for what's left in the collector, so you dont have to manually remove it?
It would get too complicated, but possible.
I might do that in the future though.
However I could add a built in filter for items you don't want to collect at all....
Just share your experience, and what items you generally don't care about.
No worries on the drop all then. I wished the button worked in vanilla since holding the drop key on the keyboard just leaves a piles of the little brown boxes.
Edit: Maybe a Loot Crate Filter. Like maybe you only want red/purple/ and yellow. That would be a great addition to the mod.
But gettin back to the point, ur right dont change the way it works i wasnt completly aware of it, and how it works rn is just fine as it just causes Workload upon activation.
Im not quite sure how i did fix it but i got it to Work heres what i did :
Addin the Ini option but left it on 900
changed Mod Order to directly load after my Core mods
destroyed prev. Build looter and rebuilded them, then waited for some time went into a cave to make sure Stuff spawned.
Upon activation the Looters worked as intended.
If you do have issues again, or related to a updated version, try spawning and placing another one nearby to update the existing one.
It might not be needed in multiplayer, it does however work in singleplayer.
I think this is some weird bug in the game or developmenkit.
I'm trying out "filters" in the menu of the looter, so you can choose what to filter out :D
Also while on the topic of snap points, what you have used as points of reference are bad. (sorry if this feels like bad feedback but need different set of flags or points. I know they are a pain to work out but hopefully you can find/create another set.)
Not sure if it's a bug or not but we seem to be getting desert armor from aberration. Loot containers are default no mods or ini to change them.
On a positive note mod seems to work as intended. Great idea and something different. Keep up the good work.
PS Something that was suggested to me by a player using this mod, would it be possible to use the same concept but for eggs? eg - instead of collecting loot they collect eggs from nests (wyvern, drake, deino)
Thanks Core! I'll play with it tomorrow :>
Fantastic! keep it coming!
- I willl most likely make another version that allows collecting (eggs, loot, artifacts, etc.) from the radial menu.
And to be optional via INI settings.
- The next update will have snappoints fixed :D (they can snap together if you want, but dont auto snap to center of foundations only).
- Getting desert armor from abb, should not be mod related. (maybe it collects from a container that's not usually accessable that the devs have forgotten to remove ;))
I just have 2 suggestion, 1st a cooldown timer on it ? frustrating to don't know when it's gonna be available again and 2nd been able to drop all the items directly, they're is a vanilla button for idk why it's not available ?
Hope you still working on it :D
Thanks man!
I have put all my projects on hold for a while, the ARK devkit can be a pain in the ass, just like the game it can be very buggy, and had to take a break from it.
While im on the "break", i am however reading and taking in all the suggestions etc., and i am still using the unreal engine for other projects, so im still in the loop.
I'll hopefull get back to my projects and polish and update them ;)
