Wisp Wyllou Skin

Isn't this Sombra?
From Overwatch? It looks nigh identical, what with the hair, the colours, collar, the pose even... I half expected to see lines from the hand pointed at the nearest health kit to hack it. Seriously. Gonna keep it 100 with you, this is plagiarism.

it's not sombra, because it doesn't actually use the sombra model, and as such, isn't plagiarism. perhaps inspired by-- if we wanted to claim everything that was inspired/similar as "plagiarism", then much of warframe would be plagiarized.

Implying there's some originality here. It just looks like Wisp got hacked by Sombra.

What the hell is up with people comparing this to overwatch skins, it looks nothing like them. This looks nothing like sombra or moira ands its like people are trying to ♥♥♥♥ on it just for the sake of it. This is not plagiarism, not even close, thats like saying that if I draw a tree im plagiarising everyone else who has drawn a tree. Having "similar" looks does not justify being called plagiarism, sombra is most certainly not the first female character to have that kind of appearance and while i can bother looking for an example im sure overwatch has done the exact same thing multiple times (i.e. Sentai skin and power rangers).

There's taking creative license and then there's a direct clone. Comparing Sombra to this (ignoring the identical posing), the shades of purple are identical, the high neck "coat", the edgy lock over one side of the face, the pauldron/bag strap pad across the chest, the purple piping in the hair (two stripes)....

I can believe creative license was used. But nowhere near enough.

Well, the problem is that, the design is 100% ripped off Sombra from Overwatch.

otherwise the simplicity of the texture just don't fit into the game and makes it look flat, and to be honest I'm not sure I want Overwatch rippoff skin being a thing into Warframe.

I had the idea for characters with black and purple coloration, purple energy, and the ability to corrupt/hack any system they come in contact with, long before Overwatch was even in concept. But you don't see me saying Blizz stole that from me. No one can claim absolute authority over a loose categorical theme. Unless they directly scanned and injected the model, said they had the same backstory, and somehow inserted voice lines from the character, there ain't a problem. So chiiiiill. Just let people enjoy things and express themselves, yeah? (Though an honest critique, lose the hair I'd say. Giving frames hair is just weird. There's already so many people trying to give Saryn hair, we don't need that vile disease spreading to more frames.)
