The Katipunero unit shows up in both the Civics and Tech trees.

Also not a bug, but what happened to the galley replacement? Balangay or something?

@ZeÜberChef thanks for the heads up! I forgot to include a NULL field in the UU field for prereq Techs. I'll upload a new version now with the fix.

The galley replacement got chopped in favour of the Katipunero (formerly Rizal's UU) because Maori came along and did all the early ocean stuff. It was outclassed pretty much immediately when Quadriremes came along too. It was an okay unit when the mod was originally released, but with the expansions and buffs to other ocean civs, the Balangay became less and less useful over time. The asset will find a new home in a project SeelingCat is working on though no doubt so not all is lost :)

Hi. I noticed that the Art Museums cannot be themed. I have a museum with 4 portraits from 4 different artists and it is not themed.

@kidlatdakila Oh man I hope the patch hasn't broken theming bonuses. Rizal's code hasn't actually changed in nearly 2 years (he was previously part of the civ). I'll look into it, thanks for the heads up!

I spawned next to a lake and there was no lake name label just a error placeholder label

@Lightyear31 Thanks for the heads up. Do you have a screenshot? It'll help to track it down.

Hello Chimpan'G:

Philippines, playing as Jose Rizal, is appearing as a playable character. However, I am experiencing issues.

First-off - the Balangay and Katipunero units does not show on the science table. And second, once I am in a playable map everything is fine, until I press the "next" turn button - it processes then crashes my Civilization VI. I am not sure what's happening - I've even excluded all the MODs that I have - and still the outcome is the same. Do you what's causing this to happen?
chimp  [developer] 27 Jun, 2019 @ 7:26pm
Hey @LordRimaru thanks for the report. The Balangay unit has been axed from the mod now (reasoning up top of this thread somewhere) and the Katipunero is unlocked with the Nationalism civic, so it won't appear in the tech tree.

As for the crashes, how far into your game does it crash? If it's within like 3-10 turns then it's probably going to be an issue introduced by the patch that causes a crash to desktop when a random event is fired (disasters).

If this sounds like the issue you're having, look for my "Disable Disasters" mod on the workshop and enable it (disaster intensity slider to -1 on the setup screen), and see if that stops the crashing. If so, then unfortunately you are in the same boat as I am and disasters will continue to crash your game until Firaxis fixes it. If not, I'll be happy to look over your log files for you. The next time it happens, grab the modding.log, database.log and lua.log files from the

..\Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs folder

and send them to me on email: chimpang.mod@gmail.com and we'll see if they tell us anything :)

Hi! It was actually working. Sorry for that. I was just confused because some landscape portraits are in the portrait orientation. I guess I should contact Fixaris for this. Thanks for the great mod!

@kidlatdakila no worries, I appreciate the heads up! Glad you're having fun with :)

After the latest update both my art and archaeological museums are always themed when they're full, regardless of the items in them.

(an hour later)

Oh, I see. It's a bonus when playing as Kristina.

@malterunz I'll check it out but Rizal's code hasn't actually changed at all since 2017, when the Philippines civ was originally released. If something has changed, it's either a Firaxis thing or the 'auto-theme' bonuses, which are handled by an effect in the database not present within this mod, are perhaps being applied by another mod.

'Landscape' and 'Portrait' is not the orientation of the painting, but rather the images themselves. Portraits of people and paintings of landscapes. Took me a while to get it!
