I had a suggestion, I wish I knew how to make the mod myself but I think it would be a great extension to your mod. If you could add grey alien faction that you could only produce through cloning, you could buy the genetic material from traders or get them through raiding. The grey alien wouldn't necessarily have to have faction bases on the planet maybe one base if that. And they could send small raids to abduct your people for experiments :).
