Suggestion: Have different varieties of socialism represented as heresies. I'd divide Marxism into Leninism, DeLeonism, and probably Maoism.

If you ever decide to make a unique government for the Marxians one thing you could do is have the centralization laws influence succession. Like if you have minimum centralization you are locked into elective, and once you have imperial administration you could have a form of imperial elective where the higher the learning and intrigue stats the better chance you stand of being elected and the Peasant Leader trait could function as a stand-in for the "Born in the Purple". And the viceroyalty system is very reminicent of soviet/socialist style of government. You should have free vassal retraction after a certain level of centralization, and troops not minding if troops are raised.

Marxism should start out as an unreformed religion, so that we can reform it. Would open up a lot of possibilities for unique doctrines

Something that has been mentioned before in the comments that would be helpful for the mod would be three items. Namely, it would be swell if you could add one or more societies and holy orders, and if you could add a realm that was already Marxian (to allow an easier start).

For the holy orders, while you do have the mercenary groups, it can get a tad annoying to keep paying gold to hire them, and doesn't entirely make sense. You could always base a holy order off of groups such as the International Freedom Battalion, or Redneck Revolt.

For societies, it would be nice to have a society dedicated to Marxist. You could have a monastic order named after the Democratic Socialists of America, you could (if the mechanics permit) also have a warrior lodge named after the Socialist Rifle Association (perhaps named the Socialist Blade Association to match the setting).

Aside from those, it would be nice to have a realm that starts off as Marxian, or at least a way to change governments to the communal government.

Regardless, thanks for the mod and for updating the mod, it's quite enjoyable regardless.

@Rukas Bronte There is a Marxian start mentioned in the description. There is also a decision to adopt a communal government for leaders holding a castle and have both the peasant leader and heresiarch traits.

Ah, I did not know that changing it required both the peasant leader and heresiarch traits. Thank you for informing me of that, and for the response to my post.

However, holy orders and societies would still be a nice addition.
