FAQ
Q: Will the Bronze Age Collapse be included in the mod?
A: The collapse happened almost 1000 years after the start date and the circumstances at a playthrough that has reached that point would be nothing like what it was historically. So the collapse won't be some hardcoded event, but the goal is to represent the struggles and pressure that caused great civilizations to fall such as widespread long lasting drought, large scale migrations and social upheaval.

Q: When will X region be added?
A: Next up for the 0.4 update is very likely Egypt. Cyrenaica (coast around modern Benghazi) might come with 0.4 or later. After that is probably Mesopotamia.

Q: The mod won't load/I start the game but see no changes.
A: Try this, credit to Agamidae,
- in the game directory, open launcher-settings.json with a notepad

- there's a line gameDataPath, change it to your exact path, like "E:/Documents..."

to get the path you can do "Copy Adress as text" and get for example:
C:\Users\Svanley\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Imperator
just change the backslashes to forward slashes, \ to /

Q: Will you add formables/will X be added as a formable?
A: Formables are not in part because I so far have prioritized other things. The other part is that I think countries named after their capital city makes sense for the period and is not strange at all.
Examples:Assyria (Assur), Babylonia (Babylon), Akkadian Empire (Akkad), Ebla
(Ebla), Mari (Mari), Tarhuntassa (Tarhuntassa), Mykene (Mykene) and much later on aswell, Roman Empire (Rome), Carthage (Carthage) and many smaller states such as Sparta, Athens, Ugarit, Tyre, Acre, Ammon, Samaria, Yizrael, Damascus, and much more of course.

There are also counterexamples, but don't think there is a pressing need. Might be exceptions for Greece, Crete, Cyprus. For example Egypt will for sure have a formable for a reunited Egypt.

Q: Roads don't work.
A: Roads won't show up because Paradox needs to unlock a command, have said they will do it for the next big update. Technically roads "work", just wont show on the map, not that that is all that great...

A more thorough description of making mods work if you got issues:

Start by finding where your save games go, then above the list of files there is a header with the path, for example looks like: Dokument > Paradox Interactive > Imperator
Right click Imperator and select Copy Adress as Text (got it in swedish so think thats the english spelling).
Now open launcher-settings.json inside the game directory (main place where you also find common, map_data etc)

Now copy paste in your address so that it looks like this for example:
"gameDataPath": "C:/Users/Svanley/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Imperator",

Do note that when you paste it will be backwardsslashes, \, instead of /. Change this.

It should now work!
