What was the bug? That just sounds like you were unprepared to take and hold a castle...

well the ladder was high and it made it so all my guys got stuck, and the enemys stuck so I held 53 vs 500 and won but couldnt leave because they keep coming for me ):

well thats just 1 bug, the castle has a bad design it can happen, but its normal that AI keep seiging the player, the player gets prioritized over other AI

The mod won't even start for me lol
Edit: Now it works, had to uninstall and restart my computer

i tried that several times and it still doesnt work for me

One way is to prioritize a lot of ranged units. Let them take down most of the guards and then you the player can jump from the ladder onto the wall and finish off the rest.

Another way is to build high leadership. Get as many mid tier units as you can and have a high relation with your faction. Ask other lords to follow you and then attack using the "send troops with out me".

I do this when their is absolutely no way to get in.

Well I was trying to conquer a Castle, but there was no siege tower. At an other castle the siege tower rolled just on one side into a mountain. And sometimes you fall into a slot between ladder and castle.
I like the Mod very much :-) hope it get´s more of it :-)

Anyone know how to get the mod to work every time I try to go to the tutorial or start a new game it crashes on me.

There is no easy way around this. Sometimes the enemy will put so much focus on you there is no way to hold a fief you have taken. However you can purchase units at the Halfway There Inn and a few other locations.
Also the lair can be used to store units without cost, I personally saved up 50 golems and Undead Knights as well as several hundred Undead footmen. This makes holding your first fief pretty easy
