List of bugs I've encountered
I feel the need to preface this, because people might think I hate the mod. I don't. Overall this is the best portal-themed portal mod that I've seen. The least broken at least. However it has its fair share of bugs (as seen here)
also please add a setting to move the camera faster when moving through portals its really disorientating


You can place portals on portals

there's no portal bumping when placing portals next to other portals

Sprite rendering seems to be based off the orange portal. Rendering sprites will break depending on where you look. Breaks in normal circumstances and though blue portals, but only when both portals are connected and are both rendering things.

throwing projectiles like grenades or rockets seem to break the game in strange ways.

shooting through portals seems to stop working when you shoot at shallow angles

walking through portals that are back-to-back against a thin will bump the player out of the portal, and in certain circumstances you wont be able to walk through it at all

Combine break when they use the SMG and shoot much slower than normal

grabbing anything with the physgun will cause anything through the portal to darken

anything through portals seems to be brighter than what it actually is.

You can partly see what's behind the portal when looking at a side angle.

NPCs cant see through portals

NPCs can't go through portals (this isn't too much of a problem because the base game doesnt simulate this either)

when placing portals, the mod doesn't fully check if a portal can be placed. There are specific conditions where portals can be placed where they shouldn't. (example: two small cubes stacked on top each other is good enough for the game)

placing portals on props seems to be a lil janky. Portals wont follow the prop and wont check if the portal will actually fit onto the prop

it's almost impossible to land on the floor when entering into a portal placed on a wall facing towards the portal, and exiting a portal placed on the floor

there are certain edge cases where physics will break and props will phase through the ground if the prop hasn't fully exited the portal

physics seems to be very inaccurate when there are props right next to each other and are close to the portal

portals do not update prop physics when you place a portal on top of a prop that wasn't previously on a portal

ragdolls break when they're moved through portals

players can phase through props placed inside portals, but only if the player is walking though the portal

props that are inside a portal will not be bumped into physical space (they'll simply remain inside the wall)

You will loose noclip when you enter a portal. Noclip doesn't work at all when inside a connected portal.

freezing a prop inside a portal will prevent the physgun from grabbing it

You can't hold props through portals

you can't fit large objects through portals but you can fit any sized vehicle through portals

(both large objects and vehicles will still phase through the world when next to portals)

if you stand besides an unconnected portal, look up, and shoot a portal, you will get a
"lua/entities/prop_portal/init.lua:150: Tried to use a NULL entity!" error and phase through the ground. Another portal will be made, and will be placed perpendicular to the portal you were standing next to. Attempting to noclip up into the perpendicular portal will make your camera freak out. In this state, pressing R will no longer fizzle the portals and the player will be soft locked. If the player committed suicide, From then on walking through portals will cause a "lua/entities/prop_portal/init.lua:1429: Tried to use a NULL entity!" error.

when you crouch into a portal that are both placed on the floor, your camera will glitch.

you can't crouch or uncrouch when walking through a portal

moving through portals gives you a slight speed boost
