Support Thread
With this thread we want to focus the Support Threads to a single one where we could followup on problems and fixes.

Therefore we do suggest everyone to follow our general Trouble Shooting steps FIRST before posting here, as this is a last resort if something does not work. Make sure to provide enough information to what you have tried to fix it and what kind of problem you're experiencing. The more information the better!

If you find your question/problem to be too big or complicated then feel free to create your own thread which you may post a link in this one to refer to it. However we would like to keep it as focused and dedicated enough so everyone could help each other and fix the issues together!

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Remove the GMA files from CAP located in the addons folder which in return Garry's Mod can redownload them.
2. Uninstall OR disable all your addons and redownload/install only CAP & Wire
3. Uninstall your whole Garry's Mod (Deleting the whole garry's mod folder located under the COMMON's folder) Then install only CAP and Wire.
4. If it's still not working then try downloading our addon via our Github Repository to make sure it's not a problem with the steam workshop version.
5. If all of the above things do not help then please post a thread in the forum.

I would like to point out the the creator of this mod that this mod does not work for me and I would liked it to be fixed

Sadly, all errors won't be fixed as they have discontinued the project.

CAP still works fine for me 2 years after being (mostly) discontinued. Your help request is very generic and imprecise.

What exactly is broken for you?

To my records it's still fully functional to this latest version. So make sure to follow the trouble shooting steps and see how that goes!

Please always be more descriptive than just stating "it doesn't work (for you)". Actually provide the steps you've already gone through to fix it yourself and what did/don't work for you.

Alex (the main developer) is still fixing various errors to make the addon still playable when he has time. I still keep on moderating these forums/post and the github repo but the main team has been disbanded. Which in theory does indeed mean the Addon is put to stop. However in practise we still try with the little time we have to do as much as possible to keep CAP living a little longer!

I'd just like to report that for me the gatespawner has stopped working on all maps
maps like flatgrass and even the stargate RP map included in the collection :steamsad:

I just tested myself and all the gatespawners worked fine on my side!

seems some items and stargates are errors, all required materiels are installed tho, any fixes?

That shouldn't be the case, try reinstalling as it might be that something is corrupted if you see errors! Our addon is error model free "normally"

I am bugged about this, but how so you control the weapons. It says touch it with a chair. The only chair is a control chair but it doesn't work.. :/

You can use any chair in the vehicle menu.

Try reinstalling the packs and if that doesn't work see if it works when you've removed all other addons as there might be conflicting addons causing this!
