Here are some possible suggestions.
-one with a sword
-one with a sheild(like energy or smthng
-one that carries a gun instead of having one attached to its arms

Random idea:
I think it would be really funny if you could kick vehicles and other stuff around.

Sword and shield in the same mech? Or a sword only but the sword can block stuff? It would be cool if it could damage vehicles and had increased mobility. (like a ninja mech)
