Cant play as Amalfi itself
I downloaded the mod specifically to rule Amalfi, however when i load up a game, Amalfi is there, i can design a ruler and everything but the play button is faded grey and the reason it wont let me play is "you cant play as a republic".

Just to be clear, i have all of the DLC's and the mod is correctly installed (as far as i can tell), i can play as other republics but not Amalfi.

If anyone can tell me why this is happening and hopefully how to fix it, id appreciate the help.

No idea why that would be happening - I just tested it myself and it works fine on my end. I guess all I can say is the obvious to check and make sure you're at the right start dates (any of the early ones, or from 1066-1076), and make sure the Republic DLC is selected in the launcher.

If you're using other mods that mess with the map or history files, that might be causing issues too, though I believe this should be compatible with SWMH.

Also try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod, making sure it's actually selected in the launcher, and/or using the manual install version, and seeing if any of that works.

i have made sure it was at the right starting date and that the DLC is active. I have not checked for conflicts with other mods though, idk if any of them mess with the history files. I will try reinstalling the mod. Thnx for the help.
