Servers -- Does it work for them?
I tried to use these in a server, but someone used a weapon and it crashed the entire server. So will these work in the setting of a sandbox server?

They do, at least if they are downloaded correctly. My server keeps struggling with big addons, and I think my server is not the only one. A fix is, taking the addon from your gmod and renaming it: fas_2.0_alpha_sweps_bla_bla_12345678.gma to ds_12345678.gma

A fix for the addon might be the creator splitting it up in 2 parts.
