Day Break (Campaign)
Day Break - Review by Endless
★★★★ 4/5: Fantastic, exciting and fun

A complete campaign in every sense of the word. Day Break takes the classic zombie apocalypse tropes and polishes their quality to the max, generating a collection of fantastic levels that are as intense as they are engaging. Each map has a certain quality in its lighting, geometry and variety. Their sizes can range from medium to large, so the length is kept at a solid length, and thanks to the variation in scenery and design detail, no map feels dull or boring, on the contrary, it implores you to keep playing until you reach the end. Players will traverse through a variety of areas and different structures, starting from a classic city center to the famous red bridge, all in a great dose of intense action and speed.

This campaign can be particularly challenging due to its high number of hordes and different encounters, but, in particular, to its last maps, especially the bridge map where we will encounter a huge horde of enemies, little room for movement and many chances of death. In this sense, playing on Normal or Easy can be recommended for first-timers, otherwise, I hope you are willing to die a few times.

Day Break is a solid example of a classic campaign that manages to reinvent itself thanks to the inclusion of new visual elements and an attractive gameplay from start to finish. Undoubtedly, a solid recommendation that, despite the challenge, is completely worth it.
