Yet another reason why campaign crashes
The Campaign also crashes because of zombie populations mod like l4d1/2 population mix +custom models and ect. Try disabling those mods it worked for me it should also work for you.

it's working but i turn off common infect mod

Clean and vanilla L4D2 and the campaign will mostly likely crash the game due to having too much custom models.
