Currently playing a high elf in the scourge. Just seen the Lich in charge of Anderhol has gone independent of the scourge and has become Forsaken, also independent of Sylvanas.

I was just wondering how this happens and how would i be able to do this because it's eventually my goal to be leader of a forsaken Quel'Thalas.
