BUG when paired with SOS2
The event text says,

"You detect a massiv energy signature. It seems like a ship reactor is starting up somewhere nearby. It is probably defended and might attract other enemies too.

The ship will be defended by at least 30 defenders, 6 mortars and some turrets!"


Also just noticed the text has "massiv" and not "massive"


Once I am at the encounter I see the following when I first land

About 20 to 30 "Terror Gang" (my pirate faction). Some are inside the ship some are not. It almost looks like it was a generation of one of their bases but then all the walls were removed. I can tell this because there are roofs still up without supports. There is also what looks like beds, food, solar panels and so on that would normally be part of a base. Even the floor tiles are still there, it is just missing the walls really.

Now this ship itself is also under my control as in I can select the hard points, control the power, and so on. Now because they are under my control I am watching them shoot the pirates. I even got to see the rare sight of a turret firing at another turret. It seems like if the turret was put there by the "base" generation it is under the pirate control and the ship ones are under my control.

Yeah, since 1.3 SOS2 changed the default ship generation.
However I uploaded a new version which is now fully compatible with SOS2. The ship is smaller again and fits within the outpost. Also it is now of the same faction as the defenders.

So, strange little thing, but when I arrived, there was no ship. No components thereof, or anything. Just a fortified camp.

Yes, SOS2 removed the ship I was using in the past. I do have an idea on how to fix it but didn't have time yet to implement it.

Same here, just a fortified camp as well still.
Same here aswell, just the camp no engine whatsoever. Could the load order be the culprit? Go explore is loaded after SOS2 for me

Yes, I didn't yet come around to fixing this. It is an incompatibility because SOS2 removed the default starship creation from the vanilla tool.
