No Foundation Required
Is there an option for this mod where i can configure in the .ini file that i dont need a Foundation nearby for things to stay? Like NoFoundationsRequired

Add this to your GameUserSettings.ini:
[CKF_Config]
CeilingIsFoundation=true

Keep in mind though that you will still need a starting foundation in order to place a foundation-ceiling tile. Turning that option on does not make the ceilings into stand alone foundations, they have to snap to something first.

Correct. At least one side needs to start with an actual foundation.

You can take it out later, after you have started, and replace it with ceiling piece.
