How can I get this from the mod? (related picture)

I try to get like in red, all I get is like in green.

I can't snap the roof on its middle.

You would need to have a 1/2 tile wall, which you can achieve with a mix of 2 triangles & 2 squares. at the floor or ceiling level, then you'll be able to put a half wall and roof up from there
