Report a translation problem
The tricky part, I think, is that wouldn't this make too many great works under the current system? It would fill up the limited slots pretty quickly I think, in most games when I am going for a culture win I usually run out of room between all the great works and artifacts. Second problem is just asthetic, but you'd also run out of actual great works for them to produce.
What if the great person works more like a "We love the King day" which you can move around your empire where you want the bonuses until they die. Different great people could provide different bonuses to their host city. During this time maybe they drop the occasional great work?
