Do not you think that the system is "one great man - one great work" is not very realistic is it? What are your ideas?

I think about add great people age (in the turns, of course). Closer to old age , more and more chance that the great man would die. Performing specific actions, the great man will not disappear, but for their execution requires certain conditions (you will not just get a great job every turn). Besides, wonders should not be a major factor in the emergence of a great man. Must be greater effect on the availability of of buildings in city. There is a workshop - probably ever grows great engineer. There is a market - wait merchant (etc.)

I can't comment on the system yet... Because i'm still trying to start a game without having mods compatibility problem... But it might be cool! I suggest to wait for other expert people input tough.

Good idea, I like the thought of having a great person move into a city and proceed to fill it with wonderful things, like Shakespeare living in London and writing plays for the Globe, or a rock star travelling your country dropping off new songs.
The tricky part, I think, is that wouldn't this make too many great works under the current system? It would fill up the limited slots pretty quickly I think, in most games when I am going for a culture win I usually run out of room between all the great works and artifacts. Second problem is just asthetic, but you'd also run out of actual great works for them to produce.
What if the great person works more like a "We love the King day" which you can move around your empire where you want the bonuses until they die. Different great people could provide different bonuses to their host city. During this time maybe they drop the occasional great work?

Pretty interesting idea, this game mechanics might be working. But I think that should more change the current Greatworks system
