Could you explain what your expected behaviour is?
Do you mean collecting the randomized act's Time Piece should instead grant the originally selected act's Time Piece? That would mean you never play the original act, and are still able to randomize into the randomized act.
So if you enter She Came From Outer Space and it sends you to Down With the Mafia, and you complete Down With the Mafia, it will then clear She Came From Outer Space on the map.
At the moment I can simply re-enter She Came From Outer Space as many times as I'd like to complete all of Mafia Town (and if I get the vanilla act, exit to hub, and re-enter again)
EDIT: Actually I just realised I can send players into other chapters. I think I will make a separate mod for randomized acts.
So you have an inventory of items to dispense in all the levels (or in this case levels to dispense) but to dispense in a manner that all the vanilla item totals remain. You can't leave and come back to change it again to get what you want, you're stuck with what you're originally given.
Makes seeds and races on the same randomized set even better that way.
I'd need a list of every important collectible in the game, for a start.
Ok yea, I see what the issue is here. The chests wait longer (i.e. after I randomize them) to check their contents to see if the player already has the item in their backpack. So if they get their contents randomized into a badge you already have, it'll force itself to be open/empty.
I should be able to get around it by waiting longer than the chests do to randomize their contents.
