We acknowledge the graphical issue and after we make this 0.30 more stable (0.31+), we will make it an option, but I currently can't tell when, because those savegame and back to menu bugs are giving us all a headache.
I beg you to be patient for we are working as hard as we can.
Ah, alright. So it's like r56 but expanded in it's core features and I suppose new features which r56 doesn't have if I understand right? Or is there something r56 will have that this won't?
Also I side question.
Do correct me if I'm wrong but I suppose this mod won't have as much compatibility with mods as r56 cause of how much bigger of an overhaul this mod seems to be and it isn't as well-known as r56.
Again, sorry if I still understood this wrong, but good luck with the mod, I'll happily try it out when the major bugs gets fixed, no need to hurry.
Somewhat like that, but we are different from r56. We will have some things in common, but both mods will have something of their own.
Also you're right that playing our mod with some other mods just breakes the game - apart from compatibility/better performence mods.
No problem, we are here to help you and answer all your questions. Thanks for your support and be ready to test new version 0.31, that will be comming out in a few hours/days, where will be the savegame issue fixed (we are currently testing out, if we really solved it).
The biggest change I've seen with the mod currently is the huge change to the government overview. There is a lot more sections than what vanilla hoi 4 and r56 have.
The biggest is National Charactor: things you can only change by doing stuff in-game. So for example, you have three statuses of this section that pertains to the size of your military. By adding on more divisions, ships, planes and generally making your military more complex, these three statuses change. These national charactor statuses give you bonuses or debuffs. Going by our previous example, if you were to get the "A Historical Army" status(which basically means you have a huge army with likely 400+ divisions) you would get a huge debuff in construction speed(I believe a -30.00% debuff) and other stats. These statuses range from food supply, military size, energy, and even things like crime and terrorism.
You also get more options as far as your military goes(you can lower the age to enlist(you can have child soldiers) and retirement age(basically have the defenders of Berlin in WW2) and increase or lower your army training and health standards) and you can hire all of your political advisors with even one slot to spare(at least when I played as USSR).
There is also some weird changes to the focus tree of the Soviet Union at least(there's a small section that allows you to keep Stalin but abandon his cult along with like 80% of your internal affairs focuses). Germany has a completely separate section of their focus tree that basically gives them cores on nations they control as well as declarations of nations like the Greater German Reich.
EDIT: Oh and all the names of the countries are changed(The Soviet Union is now it's Cold War name the USSR).
