Are missions supposed to be auto-generated in this version? I played a few hours and never received any. I can only ask from Petros.

If yes, is there a way to fix it on my end?

In case they are not or I can't fix it - Does Petros give sea supply missions? In the orig antistasi I always got those auto-generated and wouldn't like to lose them as they are easy way of getting various equipment at the biginning.
