Suggestions
Just some ideas i wanted to throw around.

Technologies
NBC Support company research: adds more reliability and improves its effectiveness
Rad Suit Technology: After researching Nuclear Energy it is possible to research Rad suit technology that gives slight bonuses to org, recovery rate, and Temp Attrition (hot/cold) In addition to giving a small decrease to the effects of radiation. They are available for every 2 years from 1940 to 1948 and the 3rd and 5th upgrades require Nuclear reactor/Nuclear Bomb technologies. Found in the infantry tab and classified as infantry weapons

Nuclear Shielding technologies: These work like the Rad suit technologies but start earlier and are for buildings, They would work to counter the effects of nuclear bombs and also reduce the effect of bombing raids. In Industry and starts from 1943 onward, requires nuclear energy, no further technologies required.
Essentially These allow countries with more rich research to be able to stand a better foothold against the nuclear apocalypse.

Hey there man, Thanks for the suggestions and I will most likely do something with most of what you stated, I didn't initially add tech options because I wanted to have it as compatable with other mods as possible but after some looking around thats not gonna happen anyway, so Ill be expanding on it the next couple of days, thanks for the suggestions m8!

I think adding some techs for nuclear bombs that increase the damage they do and how much global radiation they add would be nice, especially since it could create an actual Cold War situation, instead of it being like nukes don't exist unless you spam like 5 of them on units or carpet nuke an entire nation.
(Also maybe make it so the AI uses nukes less often the higher the global radiation is and/or the more damage and radiation the nuclear bombs create.)

maybe also that you also can bomb with rockets and not just planes

so smaller nations can pose a threat wwithout having more planes

and with the planned chemical weapons
is it gonna be like in the iron curtain mod ?
where you have to produce 50 units of anthrax or something and than you can use a generals abillity that gives boosts ?

Radiation should decay very fast. Like in around a few weeks to a month or two to decay to safe levels. This is due to the low half life of intense radiation.

The effect of nukes should also be much smaller in either states with larger areas or smaller populations. Nuclear weapons are the most harmful on urban industrialized societies where a combination of dense populations and reliance on outside sources for food end up causing the most amount of chaos post-bombing. Basically, nuking Kansas is less deadly than nuking New York, even taking different populations into account.

@Dr. Breen [Lambda Wars + TF2]

Ill have a look into that one.

@Stucka_

I might stick it to rockets but thatl instantly make it so that the mod is instantly no longer compatable with every mod that changes anything on rockets, so ill look into that but it might not happen.

and yeah pritty much the way the chemicals will be working/

@CherryJester

I know how nukes work, but if you read what i wrote on the main page, its not meant to be realistic.

also, idk if you like lag but thats how youre gonna get lag, if i tell the game to calculate casualties differently in every state youre gonna end up with your game freezing for like 10 seconds every time a nuke drops.

Use Roentgens instead of Civerts. Just for the Chernobyl meme value.
