I can safely run 10+gb of armor mods with Shadows set to High and/or Static only, so I would recommend that for users getting a lock-up.

Thanks for the tip, shadows at high and static only together worked to reduce the freeze duration when selecting the uniforms and helmets to only about 15 seconds each time, one time per game session, and no longer freezing excessively long per each individual item either, just per set
