Balance Suggestions
Post any balance tweak ideas you have here, I don't use Divine War often when I play so some of these items might be overpowered or underpowered for all I know.

Every weapon of yours I've found so far in Act 1 has outdone the damage of whatever I had at the time by around 10, and has carried me all the way through the act, especially the crossbow. However they just tickle the people at the Alex fight so there is that.

hmm, well they do level with you which adds considerable damage any time you would have been using a weapon a level or two below. Granted, I don't play divine war often so they could be more unbalanced here than anticipated. I did make them a bit above the usual damage values for early weapons but they shouldn't be 10 points of damage higher in the tooltip than weapons their level... I also didn't want to make them scale too low in order to "match" act 1 weapons, since weapons beyond act 1 spike in quality fairly quick (which would in turn make my weapons useless at those points). I'll look into their numbers again when I have the chance to see if it's really as drastic as this.

I think they're really awesome weapons, it's just once you have one of them it becomes the obvious choice, and the only thing that is worthy of replacing them is another one of your weapons xD

I hopped in game at level 8 and compared it to the average level 8 loot I'm getting dropped

With the stat boosts and such your weapon becomes significantly more powerful than anything else obtainable at that point in the game.

Hmm, yea that's definitely a higher contrast than I was expecting, though I haven't done much playing with the bow/crossbow since I made them. I think crossbows have higher base damage than bows, and when I was spawning weapons to compare them too I think I had some really high damage range spawned on the white weapons, so I probably boosted the bows further because of that. Do you have any screenshot comparisons for the other weapons? I'd like to see how some 1h weapons look compared to drops if you don't mind.

@jaker I did some more comparisons and you are right that they are better than other weapons their level. I confirmed that crossbows are indeed stronger by default than bows, so that was partially contributing to what you were seeing.

I also noticed the 2h weapons in general suffered from higher number bloat than the 1h weapons, so I had to tweak those a bit more carefully. I have released the balance patch so let me know if that helped bring them more in line.

Voidrend still looks like the obvious 2H choice to me, with the strength boost and the 50% cleave damage it can output so much damage, but other than that it's all looking pretty good dude! Nice work ^^
