She´s already measuring out where her creepy lab is going to be located.
Oh, and five minutes in and it´s already raining, I have a good feeling about this!
Might turn out to be my briefest colony yet, besides your traits, I´m also running with lovecraftian cults, monsters and factions, as well as Gors and Daemonettes from a splendid modder doing content inspired by the Warhammer franchise.
So eeeeh, hoping I can swiftly throw together a seaside temple where I can beseech jolly Father Dagon to protect me from my own hubris and malcompetence. <3
More news in a few days as I´ll be out of town cheering up my SO. ^^
Day 11 and things are going well! The reverend keeps hitting on Dr. Creepy which, you know, is neither appreciated or a very good idea, hope she keeps it up, that´d be one dreary marriage!
Had our first raid, a stark raving naked cultist to a local cult of slaneeshi daemons we seem to have settled near.
Can´t see anything but good neighbourhood cheer coming from that!
Sooo, set up a pathetic starting weapon-gunline and expected my first colony wipe, but the deep one went for one of my two muffalos, I -was- going to save it, but heck, I was mildly terrified and thought the muffalo would weaken it.
It didn´t, the blessed beast beat the deep one down and crushed it´s chest with it´s mighty hooves, and emerged with a badass scar over one of it´s eyes.
BEST MUFFALO EVER.
We´ve had a new convert to the Jolly Kipper! An evangelist, fittingly enough, AND he has one of your new traits, being Torpid, and curiously enough he´s also a Quick Sleeper, meaning he has both a + and - to sleep requirements, netting me a rather rugged, albeit somewhat slow character that barely eats!
---
And, this was rather fun, he arrived chased by a rather well armed gentleman from a spiffing group of gents called the Lost Legion, a rather dour group of military survivalists, and not only that, as this hulking load of military hardware came stomping unto the map an unnatural mist, brimming with incorporeal, whispering shapes settled across the land.
In game terms, this means anyone outside quickly loses their minds, so instead of using their newly built... Welcoming... Corridor, our friends feebly cowered indoors, taking potshots at the heavily armed madman roaming the mist outside.
Eventually, while they couldn´t take him down, they wounded him enough that they could secure themselves indoors as the rampaging soldier finally succumbed to bloodloss, my congregation rocking themselves to sleep to the sweet melody of a man bleeding out, alone and hopelessly insane accompanied by the whispering of the mist.
Well, no sleep for the new member I guess, poor lad spent too much time in the mist jogging to the encampment, and is now utterly out of his mind, screaming in the mist as he runs around beating his fists bloody against the doors and walls of the compound.

So. Fun times! <3
Can confirm: Torpid colonists laugh plague bacteria in their tiny, ridiculous faces!
