Pretty sweet! There's some good stuff here, and overall I enjoyed it. It's paced very well, there's nice level design, as well. It never felt boring to play, and every room wasn't half bad to look at, either. Pretty nice and well-rounded maps! I do have a couple of things that I think would give them a bit of a boost, however.

1. Climbing pipe supports as a jumping puzzle. Good god, that's bad design. I don't even mean "not my taste" or "I didn't like it myself," but genuinely bad design. I'm a big fan of jumping puzzles, and that was not the way to do it. No attention was drawn to them, and in a game like Black Mesa your eyes just kinda gloss over those sorts of details. I only tried it because I thought maybe it was a way to exploit my way passed being stuck, but nope, appears it was correct. Amidst a wealth of cool stuff, that was a bad game plan and I think a rethink on that is necessary.

2. Overall the visual style is nice. The geometry isn't generally overly complex or impressive, and the grey & brown texture sets aren't dropping any jaws, but they work for the setting, and it's pretty in general, so it's a pass. That said, it's clear you guys are afraid of empty space. Everything is cluttered. The overdone "broken tile floor" thing is super overdone here, it's almost everywhere. It doesn't make sense to have it very often, especially as frequently as seen here. There's also very little visual contrast so you rely on the path more than visual cues. This isn't awful, but it's very beginner stuff and is a big thing that keeps this mod from being great.

3. Because of #2 my brain just skipped the pallet that jams the door, and I ended up running around for a solid 15-ish minutes trying to figure out where to go. There's clutter in that small room and similar warehouse-like debris right next to the pallet, and it's not amazingly lit. It could totally be my own fault (I tried other silly things like smashing the glass (how did that marine get stuck there anyway?) and shooting the control panel), and after a moment of feeling dumb for not trying that, forgave myself once I took another look at the room.

That's my two cents, and I hope you don't feel discouraged or attacked! Again, overall I largely enjoyed playing through these. I actually got interrupted between maps and had to stop playing and resume again the next day, something that I usually don't do when a map doesn't really hold me. These points are just big to me because everything else is so nice and these are crucial bits that I think would really help propel the quality of an otherwise sweet map pack <333

Thanks for taking the time to write up some detailed feedback. It's quite rare on the workshop and much appreciated.

I'm glad you enjoyed the maps for the most part and don't worry, I like to hear the bad as well as the good (and am pretty sure Dolmo's the same). These maps are certainly not perfect and hell, I think if you can't take criticism you probably shouldn't release anything publicly on the internet anyway!
