Cache
Selfboosts
Ok so im from the movement comunity and one thing that is bothering me in some way is that the selfboost in mid is now too easy. The first jump is easy already but the but on to the airthingy (old map) was always a challenge, i mean it wont make a huge difference in Competitive but, as a T you always had alot of security up the boost that nobody from the CT side was up there and now the selfboost is like half as difficult ( in my oppinion) so terrorists will most likely expect someone up there, so as a CT who has trained this jump alot (like me) wont be able to get the best plays. What i mean by that is the energy and time alot of people have put in perfecting this jump wont have the same payout. I can remember that i did quite a few 4ks or even aces because i perfectet the jump and it was so unexpectet by the Ts.

Id like to have the jump made harder aggain, +1 if you agree

absolutely agree.

this change needs to be reverted. there's no reason the famous cache skill-jump should be made easier. it was so fun to do.

it not like nobody knows about it anymore. it will just make it a little easier for the CT side as mid was pretty T sided

Exactly right, it's famous for its difficulty

I mean, ngl it kinda feels like you're just being another movement player elitist. Like, for most players, even in the high skill competitive scene, you can see for yourself how much they struggle just to hit the first jump. Cache wasn't made to be a kz map, and its not like getting up there is exactly a cakewalk now.

no sorry but if you take 10 minutes to trian this jump, it will be so easy to get quite consistent

It's just taking away the advantage of people who are willing to practice. He is in no way being condescending with this. This is a more drastic example, but I hope it makes this post make more sense to those who don't understand the spirit of this topic. Imagine practicing hours and hours to have really good recoil control, but then Valve decides to remove recoil. Now all of that practice you put in to get an advantage in a very competitive game has gone to waste and you have lost your advantage that you worked for. Everyone only has to aim now and the game has lost a part of what makes training a rewarding experience. We enjoy this game for the challenge it presents and taking away the challenge takes away the reward of overcoming it.
