Well I just downloaded your mod and... nothing.

I used all the correct patch (that one and the event horizon facility one) but it doesn't seem to do anything.

First only one compatibility patch can be installed, be sure to chose the correct one. If that doesn't work this just means you got something else overwriting the patch.
Use Irony Mod Manager to diagnose what might be blocking DMM menu from showing.
