Why you don't learn animation instead ? i'm sure animation online lessons is a thing.

still cant you just make the finger move up and forth somewhere around the shotgun to make it look like character actually inserted the shells into the gun?

it's not that simple, sadly, every movement require a keyframe, i would have to edit a full and maybe multiple smd anim file to make this change, and to be honest i don't like to animate.
Loading outscreen the shell is a common use to make the animation fit a model that use an other type of reload ( futuristic guns ..etc ) .

Maybe at some point i'll dive into animation skill but it's not my priority for now.

to be fair 3D animation has the benefit of interpolation so that you don’t animate frame by frame. I’d add new animations but the mod is good already so whatever

Some 3d software (eg blender) still need frame by frame.

Some 3d software (eg blender) still need frame by frame.

i use blender though,and i can safely say that it has interpolation for easier animating when i was making mods on original anims.
