Loose Formation stats?
Can someone explain how loose formation affects a unit's stats? Does it reduce projectile damage by a percent or what?

Not that much, if you're meaning arrows, but it still count if are marshing while underfire.
But if are rushing against a city with a siege weapon, you will SURELY need to use this. The bigger space between units make the troops take less casualties when get a fire from a siege weapon.
