Hey, my friend and I seemed to have encountered a bug/nonimplimented feature of the mod, but since I didn't see it written down anywhere in the description or comments, I thought I would mention it. It seems that the Greek States factions (Athens, Epirus, Sparta) cannot form confederations. The other diplomatic options are avaliable, and the 'same blood' icons show up on diplomacy, but the confederation option doesn't appear.

I just tested it, and I am able to offer confederation with Epirus. Are you running any other mods that may affect diplomatic options?

Also, you can't offer confederations if you are in a client state or satrapy relationship with a faction. So, Macedon can't offer confederation to Athens and vice versa.
It looks like the client/satrapy issue might be the cause of it - I wasn't aware that practically every hellenic faction is a client state/satrapy of someone. I suppose that might have been the issue we didn't know about. :) Thanks for pointing out our mistake.

No problem, hope you enjoy the mod.

The way loot and sack work is how it is in vanilla. You get less money I believe because it takes into account that you are not sticking around for awhile.

Are you playing as a barbarian faction? Barbarians can't subjugate. I can update the mod if there is interest in allowing them to subjugate.

I had the same problem as above, going for the 'a league of their own' acheivement I tried to destroy athens and make them a client (I've only just realised how silly that was!), but it didn't give the client or satrapy options... They're in diplomacy, but not final city taking...

So you couldn't subjugate the city playing as a Hellenic culture? That is really odd, it should be an option. It could be that they were already in a client state relationship.

They were originally my client state, I joined a war against them, and took the city myself (they shouldn't have been in a relationship). I may have made a mistake, but I couldn't see the client state button (and I've used it before in my campaign as Rome).

The option to Subjugate wasn't available? What faction were you playing? It might also have to do with some sort of prior relationship, I am not sure.

yes the option isnt available after the battle for the city.
only can loot , sack ,destroy or take over a city with every faction but satrapie and client state options arent available. tried it with every culture including rome, macedonia, seleucid .........
its like a bug, would be happy if you solve the problem and would be nice of you :D

When I take over the final city of a faction, I have the option to subjugate. Are you saying that you can't subjugate or you can't subjugate after you have formed a confederation?
Necromancer 22 Oct, 2013 @ 3:44pm
can't subjugate when I take over the final city of a faction

I just tested the mod using Rome. I took over Genua and had the Subjugate option. I am not really sure what is causing your game to not have the option.

I'm was playing as Macedon, but will check again next time I play (I'll just start from the beginning).

Just checked, and this time I could subjugate - but only to form a satrapy. This would be fine for me on any other playthrough, but it won't give me the acheivement I want!
