Lenny Aimsnap No target?

How do I get the aimsnap to attach to a target. I tried it out in singleplayer, does it have to be in multiplayer?

lenny_aimsnap_target_players 1
lenny_aimsnap_target_npcs 1

and if you dont want to shoot friends then
lenny_aimsnap_target_friends 0
