Completed Build v1.0 Released - Future Update plans
Hey, i just released the first completed build for Travis, he now has a full moveset finally!
As mentioned in the Patch notes, theres still polishing work to be done, but the moveset by itself is finalized.

I'd like to share what the future updates will focus on:

-Polishing and Improving Various animations
-Improving functionality of moves like FSpecial and NSpecial that tend to act weird when done midair.
-Adjusting damage and hitbox values for balance purpouses.
-Creating palette swaps for multiplayer
-Creating a complete AI for CPU oponents.
-Sound effects from the NMH games.
-Add a Taunt

I wanted to at least finish the moveset idea as soon as posible and im currently happy with how it turned out.

Future updates may come in a little slower rate than before but worry not! , im not done with Travis :D

Use this Discussion for Feedback about the moveset and for posting any ideas you may have.

Thanks to all who subscribed to this character concept. I never thought it would get this popular it was really exciting for me !!!

My last Request for you is to share this character with everyone you can !!! Lets try get it to the front page of the Workshop!!! That would be awesome.

I absolutely love this character, but one change that I think is pretty essential for him is to have it so his Up Special can be cancelled with a wall jump like Shovel Knight's can. As it is right now his recovery feels too weak and you're kinda screwed if you use Up B off stage

Hey, Thanks for the comment!
Initially i envisioned having a poor recovery as one of this characters weaknesses. Howerver, after implementing the battery system i'll now agree with you, it feels like an unnecesary shortcoming to die so easily offstage.
This change will be implemented in the next update along with any other suggestions i recieve.

Of course! Happy to hear that he'll get buffed accordingly. Just wanna see that he's probably my favorite workshop character to play and I love the spritework as well! I was shocked and extremely happy to see someone get to work on repping NMH in this game so soon. Rock on!

The following has already been implement as of version 1.1 :

-Palette Swaps
-CPU A.I
-Taunt
-Sound effects for Parry, Battery charge, Full battery and Victory Theme
-Improvements to FSpecial behaviour in general
