Recreation:
Make a new colony with like 10 starting pawns.

After selecting a location (pawns should be in the world now)...

Use character editor to change skin colors (I suggest making dark skin light, light skin dark, and do a few colorful ones to make the next step more obvious at a glance.)

Whenever you zoom out, the appearance of your pawns may flicker between their original skin color and the one you gave them.

Save and quit to menu or desktop.

Load back in.

All your colonists are back to their original skin color completely now.
